Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie carries the best story in the catalogue: Raymond Floyd redesigned what was once Inverrary Country Club, the same property where the original Caddyshack was shot in 1980. The 40-acre practice complex alone justifies the drive. Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation offers 36 holes of championship golf with a long tournament resume — club-grade conditioning kept accessible to the public. The Club at Emerald Hills in Hollywood is the public-access benchmark for Broward: full championship length, demanding enough to regularly appear near the top of regional 'best public' rankings. Plantation Preserve Golf Course (5 tee sets per hole) and Deer Creek Golf Club in Deerfield Beach round out the solid daily-fee tier.
