About Innisbrook Resort — North Course
The North Course is Innisbrook's shorter and most accessible layout - a par-70 routing at 6,384 yards that provides an excellent warm-up or wind-down round on the same world-class resort campus. Packard's design uses the same rolling pine-framed terrain as the Copperhead but at a pace and scale friendlier to resort players who don't need a full championship test every round.
History
Innisbrook Resort — North Course — History
Larry Packard built the North as the shortest of Innisbrook's four courses, a par-35 nine of roughly 2,900 yards routed through the same cypress and pine as its longer siblings.
Design
Innisbrook Resort — North Course — Design
Innisbrook's only nine-hole course, and it is not a warm-up. Packard put the emphasis on the short holes: the par 3s are the ones people remember, the fairways are tight, and cypress and pine crowd the corridors. The greens are well bunkered and varied enough that the approach is the shot that matters, including an island green at the 5th. Par 35 over roughly 2,900 yards.
What Sets It Apart
Why Play Innisbrook Resort — North Course
Innisbrook's only nine-hole course, and not the warm-up the format suggests -- the par 3s are the holes people remember, and there is an island green at the 5th. A genuine short round on a resort better known for its championship golf.
