About Disney's Palm Golf Course
Disney's Palm Course is the strategic counterpart to the Magnolia - a Joe Lee design threading through mature oaks and pines where fairway placement consistently outweighs distance. At 6,957 yards it plays shorter but demands more discipline: narrower corridors, tighter green complexes, and water positioned to punish both overconfident drivers and nervous layups. It co-hosted the same PGA Tour events as the Magnolia through 2007, producing sharply different leaderboard scores from the same field.
History
Disney's Palm Golf Course — History
Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore built the Palm alongside the Magnolia in 1971. Lee elevated the tees and greens and planted nearly every variety of Florida palm through the property, which gave the course its name. Arnold Palmer, with Thad Layton, renovated it in 2013.

Disney's Palm Golf Course — Design
Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore built the Palm alongside the Magnolia in 1971, and Arnold Palmer with Thad Layton reworked it in 2013. Lee elevated the tees and the greens and used the Florida palm throughout, which is where the name comes from and what gives the course its enclosed, woodland feel. At 6,840 yards and a 134 slope it is the shorter and more strategic of the pair.
