Calusa Pines Golf Club — History
Calusa Pines Golf Club opened in 2001 in Naples to a design by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, who moved enormous volumes of earth to build hills and elevation almost unheard of on the flat Gulf Coast. The ultra-private club is consistently ranked among the top courses in the United States. Access is limited to members and their guests.

Calusa Pines Golf Club — Design
Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry built Calusa Pines in 2001 on ground that does not behave like Naples. Where the courses around it are flat and water-defined, this one was given elevation and pine, and the routing uses both. It runs 7,284 yards to a par 72 over Bermuda greens. Access is by member invitation only, which is part of why it is talked about more than it is seen.
