About ChampionsGate Golf Club — National Course
The National Course at ChampionsGate is Greg Norman's parkland companion to the International - a more sheltered, wetland-threaded routing through former orange groves that offers a different character on the same resort campus. At 7,128 yards it's slightly shorter than the International but the tree-lined corridors and wetland carries make it equally demanding in different ways. The more forgiving layout for golfers who prefer defined corridors to open links-style exposure.

Built by Greg Norman in 2000 as the second half of the ChampionsGate pair, routed through roughly 200 acres of southern woodland and wetland. It has held a top-15 ranking among Florida courses.

Greg Norman routed the National through roughly 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetland, and it is the more American of the two ChampionsGate courses -- tree-lined and enclosed where the International is open. The par 3s are what golfers remember, along with the double green shared by the 4th and 16th. It plays 7,197 yards to a par 72 over GN1 Bermuda fairways.
